Responsibilities
- Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.
- Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations.
- Improve computer systems.
- Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
- May analyze or recommend commercially available software.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Completed the specific Navy ATPL Course within the last two years.
- One year of specialized experience (within the last six years) working as a Navy technical publications or USAF/USMC Technical Orders Librarian.
- Specialized experience involved receiving, screening, distribution, and inventory management of aviation technical publications/technical directives.
- Ability to accurately type and have a working knowledge of automatic data processing, computer media, and microfiche equipment.
- Ability to obtain or maintain a secret security clearance.
- Valid driver's license.
- Candidates must have been released from military service with an Honorable Discharge to meet minimum qualifications.
