CBA Aircraft Mechanic (DEPOT- Structures) (ISR) - T45 program

Responsibilities

• Performs structural and sheet metal repairs and modifications to aircraft, accessories and associated equipment.
• Must be knowledgeable with the operation and maintenance of structural metal equipment and machinery.
• Applies comprehensive technical knowledge and experience to solve structural repair problems.
• Provides technical assistance, guidance and instruction to employees in the Aircraft Structural Mechanic classification.
• Possesses in-depth knowledge of aircraft structural maintenance practices, applicable maintenance/technical manuals and publications, basic tools, special tools, test equipment and the operation and maintenance of structural repair equipment and machinery.
• Must have working knowledge of corrosion detection, prevention and treatment.
• Must be customer-oriented.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience as an Airframe Structural Mechanic.
• Must be familiar with aircraft systems, tools, drawings, schematics and normal safety requirements.
• Must have experience in corrosion detection, treatment and prevention.
• Satisfactory completion of U.S. Navy aircraft structural repair AMS “A” or “B” school or equivalent aircraft structural repair courses preferred but not required.
• FAA Airframe license, desired, but not required.
• Must be able to meet any Government/company licensing/qualification requirements for the position.
• Must be able to obtain the level of security clearance required by the Government.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
