CATS Academic Services Assistant

Job Summary

Monitoring academic progress of student-athletes through daily contact, communicating with professors and checking class attendance. Other duties include monitoring study hall, setting tutor appointments and assisting with projects assigned by academic counselors.

Qualifications

• No required education
• No required related experience
• No required licenses or certifications

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

• Interest in entering the field of academic advising for student-athletes is preferred

Preferred Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in education, student development, psychology, business administration or sports management is highly preferred
