Catholic Preschool Classroom Assistant

About the role

This is a part-time Preschool Classroom Assistant position at Regina Caeli Academy, located in Jacksonville, FL. The position is in-person and on-site, not remote. No teaching certification or formal teaching experience is required. The role involves teaching everything you need to know, and applicants with experience in homeschooling, ministry, teaching religious education, or teaching their own children are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

- Teach in a classical and Catholic preschool classroom. - Provide instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. - Attend one mandatory training day on August 10, 11, 12, or 13, 2026 from 8am-5pm. - Work Monday and Thursday from 8:45am-3:15pm. - Sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church. - Have a deep love for the Catholic faith and be living the faith daily.

Requirements

- Strong communication skills. - Good organizational abilities. - Timeliness. - A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship. - Must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including receiving all sacraments appropriate to your state in life.
