Catholic PK3 Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a part-time PK3 Teacher to join our classical and Catholic classroom at Regina Caeli Academy in Carrollton, Texas, for the 2026-27 academic year.

Responsibilities

• Teach in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays
• Provide instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards
• Prepare for classes at home and come to class prepared to teach in a highly structured environment

Requirements

• No teaching certification or formal teaching experience required
• Must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church
• Must have a deep love for the Catholic faith

Qualifications

• Experience homeschooling or working with homeschool children
• Ministry in a Catholic parish
• Teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes
• Teaching your own children
• Teaching in a classical or private school (not required)

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Good organization
• Timeliness
• A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship
• Living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including receiving all sacraments appropriate to one's state in life

Pay

Hourly pay is provided.

Schedule

Mondays and Thursdays from 8:45 am - 3:15 pm.
