Catholic 5th Grade Teacher

About the role

This position is for a Catholic part-time 5th Grade teacher at Regina Caeli Academy in Sykesville, MD. No teaching certification or formal experience is required; we will train you.

Responsibilities

- Teach in a classical and Catholic classroom setting. - Provide instruction in a formal Socratic classroom format on Mondays and Thursdays. - Prepare for classes at home and come to class prepared to teach in a highly structured environment. - Attend mandatory training on August 3, 4, and 6, 2026 (8am-5pm; no childcare provided, nursing babies always welcome).

Requirements

- Sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church. - Have a deep love for the Catholic faith. - Be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to your state in life.

Qualifications

- Strong communication skills. - Good organization. - Timeliness. - A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.

Skills

- Standard computer skills, ideally with Google Suite or an equivalent.

Pay
