FIFTH-GRADE TEACHER - OUR LADY OF ANGELS REGIONAL CATHOLIC SCHOOL, MORTON, PA

Our Lady of Angels Regional Catholic School, a vibrant Catholic elementary school serving students in grades Pre-K 3–8, is seeking a faith-filled, dynamic, and dedicated 5th Grade Teacher to finish out the current academic year. The ideal candidate will be committed to academic excellence, moral formation, and the spiritual development of students, while delivering instruction in alignment with Catholic teachings and values. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in the area of Social Studies and Religion.Integrate Catholic teachings into the daily curriculum and classroom environment.Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom culture rooted in Gospel values.Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and parents to support student growth and well-being.Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and attendance.Participate in school-wide activities, Masses, professional development, and faith formation opportunities.Uphold the mission of the school and the Catholic Church through professional and personal conduct.Utilize technology effectively to enhance instruction and communication. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field requiredValid teaching credential or state certification (or eligibility to obtain).Practicing Catholic in good standing preferred; willingness to support and model Catholic values required.Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.Passion for working with children and fostering academic and spiritual growth.Completion of background check and diocesan Safe Environment training (or willingness to complete upon hire).
