Cath Lab Technologist II
About the role
As our Cath Lab Tech, you will help deliver excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting. You will demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilize good radiation safety practices and make a positive impact on internal and external customers. To be successful in this role, you'll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging, including knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for timely and accurate diagnosis. Responsibilities
- Independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab including but not limited to: IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease.
- Demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Utilize good radiation safety practices.
- Make a positive impact on internal and external customers.
- Apply knowledge of general imaging workflow, patient positioning techniques, and clear image capture for timely and accurate diagnosis.
Requirements
- Associate of Science degree upon hire.
- Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
Benefits
- Sign-on bonus: $15,000.
Pay
- Pay range: $37.40 – $55.63 per hour.
