Cath Lab Technologist

About the role

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist provides high quality, patient‑centered care by assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology procedures in the catheterization labs.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians with a variety of procedures such as angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Operates specialized equipment during procedures.
• Provides direct care for patients throughout the procedural process.
• Maintains a safe, sterile environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Graduate / GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Sonography, Respiratory Therapy, LPN, Surgical Tech or Paramedic program.
• Must have one of the following credentials: (ARRT‑R) Radiography, (CCT) Certified Cardiographic Technician, (RC
