Cath Lab Technologist
About the role
Monitor real-time physiological data—including heart rhythms, blood pressures, and oxygen saturations—to instantly detect and communicate critical status changes to the physician during complex procedures.
Execute accurate hemodynamic calculations, cardiac output assessments, and intra-procedure testing to equip the care team with vital diagnostic data for informed clinical decisions.
Prepare, maintain, and manage specialized cardiovascular supplies and equipment while upholding strict aseptic technique and infection control protocols to safeguard the sterile field.
Partner closely with interventional cardiologists by anticipating procedural needs and adapting quickly to evolving case dynamics to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care, catheter site monitoring, and activity guidelines to empower a safe, smooth recovery at home.

Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date, Certified Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date, Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date, Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
