About the role
The Cath lab technologist is a professional caregiver who specializes and performs/assists with invasive and noninvasive cardiovascular procedures. They assist the cardiologist while adhering to departmental standards and protocols. They collaborate with other professionals to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achieve desired outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assist cardiologists during invasive and noninvasive cardiovascular procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care
- Adhere to departmental standards and protocols
- Perform other related duties as needed
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Sciences, RT or CVIS
- Previous experience preferred
- Critical Care Experience required
Qualifications
- CERTS: ARRT, CVIS, CRT, RRT
- Current BLS certification
- Cath lab or Cardiovascular specialty certification preferred
