About the role
At HonorHealth, you’ll join a nonprofit healthcare system rooted in warmth and neighborly kindness since 1927. This Rad Tech position performs high-quality radiological procedures in the cardiovascular labs (CCL/EP/IR) while adhering to governing regulations and standards. You’ll use independent judgment to care for patients, maintain equipment, stock supplies, and assist physicians as a surgical scrub. The role also involves collaborating with medical staff and leadership to manage supply chains, train personnel, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiological procedures in cardiovascular labs (CCL/EP/IR) safely and efficiently as ordered by physicians.
- Maintain quality control and upkeep of department aprons and radiology equipment.
- Stock all necessary supplies for the lab.
- Provide surgical scrub assistance to physicians and assist RNs with direct patient care.
- Operate diagnostic and treatment devices in the cardiovascular suite to support patient diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Serve as a scrub assistant to physicians during procedures.
- Collaborate with medical staff and leadership to manage supply chains and train/monitor personnel in the cardiovascular suite.
- Stay current with organizational regulatory standards and CMS regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree from an accredited NLN/CCNE or ARRT program (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
- 10 months of Radiologic Technology experience.
- ARRT Radiology Tech License (upon hire).
- Arizona State Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License (upon hire).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (upon hire).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (within 60 days of hire).
- Valid and current Cardiac-Interventional Certification (CI) through ARRT or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
Schedule
- 4x10-hour shifts (day shift).
- Call required.
Pay
$20,000 sign-on bonus available.
