Cath Lab Tech, FT

About the role

The Cath lab technologist is a professional caregiver who specializes and performs/assists with invasive and noninvasive cardiovascular procedures. Responsible for assisting the cardiologist in while adhering to departmental standards and protocols. Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described within.

Responsibilities

• Assists the cardiologist in performing invasive and noninvasive cardiovascular procedures.
• Adheres to departmental standards and protocols.
• Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.
• Performs other related duties incidental to the work described within.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Sciences, RT or CVIS.
• Licenses/Certificates: ARRT, CVIS, CRT, RRT.
• Current BLS certification.
• Cath lab or Cardiovascular specialty certification preferred.

Pay

Hourly pay rate as per MUHA policy.

Schedule

40 hours per week, flexible schedule as per MUHA policy.
