Responsibilities

• Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures.
• Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintains it.
• Administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.
• Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from a nursing program a Registered Nurse (RN) program Required or Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) program Required or Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) program Required.
• Work Experience: 2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience Required.
• Licenses and Certifications: Based on type of program completed, one of the following is required:
• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire Required.
• RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Upon Hire Required.
• RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Upon Hire Required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required.
• ACLS Upon Hire Required.
