Responsibilities

• Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
• Answers telephones
• Maintain patient charts
• Absolutely ensure excellent time and attendance
• Absolutely handle confidential information under HIPAA regulations
• Absolutely follow safety guidelines
• Absolutely follow parking and dress code policies

Requirements

• Minimum Education: Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, AD, BSN)
• Minimum Work Experience: No previous experience required
• Required Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse, CPR-BCLS, ACLS (within 90 days of hire), NIH Stroke Scale (within 90 days of hire)
• Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Demonstrates clinical competence in critical care nursing, knowledge, and skills
