Job Summary
As a Cath Lab Nurse, you will assist doctors in performing interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, valvuloplasties, and angioplasties. Additional responsibilities include monitoring patients' conditions, collaborating with physicians and nurses to develop care plans, administering medications, and fostering a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain patient safety and monitor conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create personalized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians
- Care for patients and their families with compassion and support
Requirements
- Unencumbered license to practice in the State of Arkansas
- 6 months of acute care experience (new graduates or those without acute care experience are trained through our residency program)
- Previous cath lab experience is preferred but not required
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required
- Able to participate on a rotating call schedule and respond promptly to calls
