Cath Lab-Indiana-PA-Pay Negotiable

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assess patients before cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
• Recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies and changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and moderate sedation as appropriate.
• Provide post-procedure monitoring, patient education, and discharge instructions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic status, and patient response throughout procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Moderate Sedation certification preferred or required per facility policy.
• Recent Cath Lab, ICU, CCU, ER, or critical care experience preferred.
