About the role
Join a medical center as an Interventional Cardio/Angio Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional procedures in radiology and cath labs.
Responsibilities
- Assist Cardiologists and Radiologists during procedures such as angiograms, stent placements, aneurysm coiling, embolizations, carotid stenting, thrombectomy, nephrostomies, vertebral augmentation, and port placements.
- Scrub, circulate, and monitor invasive neurovascular and radiology procedures.
- Provide exceptional patient care with organization, multitasking, and compassion.
Qualifications and Skills
- AA/BA/BS degree in Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology from an accredited program.
- ARRT or RCIS certification (or eligibility) and State Certification; registry must be obtained within 90 days if eligible.
- Current healthcare provider CPR and ACLS certifications.
- Preferred: two years of clinical experience, including cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology.
- Bi-annual CME credits and mandatory AIDS education.
Benefits and Pay
Full-time role with 40 hours/week, including call shifts for urgent cases and off-hours coverage. Compensation ranges from $52.80 to $83.26 per hour, with a sign-on bonus for experienced hires.
