Responsibilities
- Assist Cardiologists and Radiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures in Interventional Radiology and Cath lab.
- Scrub, circulate, and monitor invasive neurovascular and interventional radiology procedures.
- Provide care for patients undergoing angiograms, stent placements, aneurysm coiling, embolizations, carotid stenting, thrombectomy, nephrostomies, vertebral augmentation, and port placements.
Qualifications and Skills
- AA/BA/BS degree in Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology from an accredited program.
- Current ARRT or RCIS registry and State Certification; registry eligible candidates must obtain registration within ninety days.
- Healthcare provider CPR and ACLS certifications.
- Preferred: Two years of relevant clinical experience, especially in cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology.
- Bi-annual CME credits and mandatory AIDS education.
