Catering Specialist

About the role

This position’s assignment generally requires greater responsibility than a Dietetic Assistant. This role’s assignments include cashier (including Doctor’s Dining and Espresso), catering, and storeroom. Customer satisfaction is crucial to these assignments. Responsibilities

• Properly handles cash, credit cards, payroll deductions and meal vouchers following department policies
• Efficiently and accurately operates the register system including correct change, asking customers to open containers and over/under deposits within department compliance guidelines.
• Reviews the menu, pricing and register screen prior to starting shift.
• Maintains work area throughout shift. Area is clean and well stocked.
• Follows all recipes and techniques when preparing beverages.
• Assembles supplies needed for catered events.
• Sets-up, delivers, serves and cleans catered events according to established standards.
