Catering Specialist

About the role

The Catering Specialist is an hourly partner position, that can be considered to be a promoted employee of NEWK's or an applicant with catering preparation experience. In the morning, the Catering Specialist's main focus is all the functions that are related to ensuring a successful day of catering including food prep, food presentation and food delivery. However, when deliveries and catering assembly are finished for the day, the Catering Specialist is also responsible for hourly responsibilities within restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently execute the catering order process from receiving orders, prepare food orders, to delivering orders effectively.
• Assemble the catering orders and check orders to ensure accuracy.
• Implement the NEWK's Accuracy Plan.
• Be available to receive, prepare, and deliver orders on time, according to specifications, with a SMILE.
• Be friendly, polite, accommodating to needs of guests and be on time.

Requirements

• Excellent communications and guest service skills.
• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred (college a plus).
• Operating FOH P.O.S. System (Aloha).
• Must have a valid driver's license and insurance.
