Catering Specialist

About the role

The Catering Specialist is an hourly partner position at NEWK’s, either as a promoted employee or someone with catering preparation experience. In the morning, the primary focus is on ensuring a successful day of catering through food prep, presentation, and delivery. Afterward, the role includes hourly responsibilities within the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Execute the catering order process from receiving to preparing and delivering orders effectively.
• Assemble catering orders and check orders for accuracy to implement the NEWK's Accuracy Plan.
• Be available to receive, prepare, and deliver orders on time, following specifications and maintaining a smile.
• Be friendly, polite, accommodating to guests' needs, and on time when delivering orders.

Requirements

• Excellent communications and guest service skills.
• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred, with a college degree a plus.
• Experience operating FOH POS system (Aloha).
• A valid driver's license and insurance.
