About the role
The Ben Autograph Collection is a growing network of independent hotels, each known for their unique offerings and experiences. As a Catering Sales Manager, you will be part of a portfolio managed by Marriott International, focusing on expanding the reach and success of the Autograph Collection brand.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase catering and event bookings for the hotel.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with key clients and vendors.
- Present proposals and manage client expectations for catering services.
- Utilize Delphi (or similar systems) to manage catering orders and ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to enhance the hotel’s reputation and service offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality sales, particularly in catering and event management.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Delphi or a comparable sales and catering system.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- A deep understanding of hospitality sales strategies, market positioning, and revenue optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sales and/or catering management.
- Experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or business development.
Skills
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Delphi or a comparable sales and catering system.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
