About the role
The Catering Manager is responsible for overseeing a budget and catering accountability for one complex location or across a whole unit if volume is less than $100K. This individual meets with customers and creates plans with the culinary team for their events, including menu, number of guests, timeline, and pricing. This role also leads and assists chefs and a team of catering assistants before and after a catered event. Other responsibilities include:
- Developing catering systems conducive to growth, innovation, and excellence in customer service
- Planning menus in accordance with customer expectations and budget
- Managing cost control and collection agents
- Verification and billing of all sales and proper reporting

Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in catering management; degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary, or related field preferred.
- Skilled in planning and executing catered events, managing client expectations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Ability to manage budgets, cost control, pricing, billing, and sales reporting for catered events.
- Experience supervising catering operations, developing menus, implementing systems, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards.
- Proven ability to train, mentor, and manage catering staff to maintain high service standards and operational efficiency.

Schedule
Full-time role averaging 50 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
