Catering Coordinator | Hawaii Convention Center

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintains, organizes, and cleans all catering equipment.
• Ensures all signage is properly displayed for each event.
• Set up tables, top chairs, and tables for catered events as assigned by the Catering Supervisor/Manager in a timely and efficient manner.
• Set glassware, silverware, dinnerware, and additional set-up necessities in a timely manner.
• Ensure all catered areas are left in a sanitary and organized manner after the event.
• Serve all functions in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
• Break down all catering areas after the event.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of customers and staff.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
• Able to present a professional appearance and demeanor during the workday.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent customer service skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Food Handlers Card preferred, and TIPS Certification is a plus.

Pay & Benefits

$65,000 - $75,000 - commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.

Location: On Site - Hawaii Convention Center (Honolulu, HI)
