DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

Basic food preparation and food arrangement, delivery and retrieval of equipment, supplies and food items from the day’s caterings and the breakdown of all products retrieved from catered events as well as maintaining the cleanliness of catering areas. Stage, deliver and set-up caterings as scheduledBreakdown all products retrieved from catered eventsMaintain cleanliness of catering areasRestock all catering supplies and makes note of any items that need to be orderedDeliver and maintain stock and supplies

Requirements

• Effective communication skills
• Able to read, write and perform basic math
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions
• Must be customer-oriented, organized and detail oriented
• Able to work with a deadline and on multiple activities at a time
• Able to work flexible schedule
• Able to routinely lift 30 pounds
• Strong customer service skills
• Self-managing / Time management
• High standard of personal hygiene
• Email and basic computer competency (Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel)

Education and Experience

• Education: High School diploma or GED Equivalent
• Experience: 1-3 years previous catering experience required
