Catering Attendant- Superdome

About the role

Under the direction of the Catering Manager and Supervisor, you are responsible for timely, efficient, and accurate service for special function patrons and their dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times
• Report for scheduled events on time and to assigned areas in a timely manner
• Fulfill opening and closing duties as dictated by management
• Maintain the highest level of professionalism and service while abiding by Legends’ service standards
• Set up, maintain, and break down for all functions
• Be knowledgeable of other food, beverage, and retail outlets within the stadium
• Have extensive knowledge of food and beverage menus, specials, and services offered
• Abide by Legends Sequence of Service when interacting with guests
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment
• Communicate with supervisors and management
• Work as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within the club and stadium
• Perform and successfully complete tasks assigned by management
• Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training, and any additional job-specific safety training

Requirements

• Catering experience preferred; orientation and on-the-job training are provided
• Must be pleasant, courteous, and enjoy working with people
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Must be able to remain calm in stressful situations
• Must be able to smile, maintain positive body language, and consistently provide positive guest services
• Must be able to generalize, evaluate, and make decisions without immediate supervision
• Must be able to accept and carry out responsibility for directions
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be willing to work hours that vary according to the event schedule
• Must be able to work at a fast pace
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
