Key Purpose
To drive a delivery vehicle for the purpose of delivering prepared foods from production kitchen to various sites following a predetermined schedule.
Success Criteria
- Must be able to work in hot and cold environments
- Work with the Executive Chef, FOH Manager, and Catering Manager on a variety of projects
- Work with on-site porters on storerooms and delivery of food
- Work with pantry supervisors on remote pantry product deliveries
Key Accountabilities
- Day to day support of kitchen, front of the house, and pantry deliveries
- Perform daily, on-time deliveries
- Clean and maintain delivery trucks (interior and exterior) daily
- Maintain maintenance records and delivery log documentation
- Perform pickup and drop-off of product inventory
- Clean and safe work area
- Follow Workplace Safety guidelines, policies, and SOPs daily
- Follow Food Safety guidelines, policies, and SOPs daily
- Follow HACCP guidelines, policies, and SOPs daily
- Follow All internal audit guidelines, policies, and SOPs daily
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs
- Must come to work properly dressed according to the dress code
- Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods
- Must be able to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend and reach
