Catering Driver

About the role

The Catering Driver at Bruegger’s Bagels is responsible for transporting bagels and coffee to various locations efficiently and safely. This role requires operating vehicles according to all local, state, and federal regulations and maintaining the vehicle’s condition to carry large quantities of packaged food.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles according to all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain the vehicle’s condition to carry large quantities of packaged food.
• Transport bagels and coffee to various locations efficiently and safely.
• Work varied hours and start shifts at early hours.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and multitask quickly.
• Work well with other team members.
• Read, count, and accurately complete documentation.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must work well under minimal supervision.
• Must have reliable transportation and driver’s insurance.
• Must be able to work varied hours and start shifts at early hours.
• Must work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to multitask and switch tasks quickly.
• Must work well with other team members.
• Must read, count, and accurately complete documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.

Skills

• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.

Pay

Starting pay is subject to Local and State Minimum Wage regulations. Ranges reflect what employer reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for such position. The hourly rate is $14.28 - $21.42 per hour.

Schedule

Stores close at 2pm, allowing for flexibility in work hours and accommodating personal commitments.
