Monitor Food Quality
Monitor food quality, temperature, and presentation, taking corrective action as needed to meet standards for freshness, taste, and appearance.
Operational Efficiency
- Organize banquet spaces
- Manage inventory
- Adequately adhere to delivery and cleanup schedules in a fast-paced environment
Catered Events and Deliveries
- Set up, serve, and maintain food presentation across on-campus and off-campus locations, including physician lounges
Food Safety and Sanitation
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards during preparation, transport, and service
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and organizational policies
Customer Service
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members to ensure timely service, accurate orders, and prompt resolution of issues
Work Schedule
7 days per week schedule will depend on business needs.
Qualifications
- Able to communicate in English
- Able to think and act calmly to resolve customer service problems and ensure guest satisfaction
- Able to learn and retain knowledge of the catering menu, hospital grounds, and outlying locations
- Able to observe, listen, and follow directions
- Committed to high quality standards
- Able to show initiative and contribute ideas
- Creative, innovative, and receptive to change
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Positive and supportive attitude toward diverse employees
- Hospitality industry knowledge of front of house, back of house, customer service, and catering
- Knowledge of various food service styles, such as French, family, and butler
- Knowledge of specific room set ups, such as U-shape, classroom, dining room, and reception
