Catering Assistant
Job Summary
The role of Catering Assistant at the University of Bristol involves working in one of their 4 catered halls of residence, 9 cafes, 3 bars, and a food court. This position is ideal for someone with hospitality experience or those demonstrating hospitable and hard-working qualities.
About the role
This role offers work-life balance, training & development, and opportunities to work alongside a supportive team. It is part-time, spread over 5 days a week (4/5 hour shifts normally), term time only (34 weeks), paid over 12 months, providing long summer holidays, Easter, and Christmas/New Year all off. Shift patterns can vary and include morning, evening, and weekend shifts. Overtime and extra paid days off for university closure days are also available.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and serving food and drink in various outlets
- Delivering great customer service
- Training in food service & safety, bar, and event service
