About the role
Join our culinary team at the University of New Hampshire, where we believe food brings people together and create memorable dining experiences for students, faculty, staff, and guests.
Responsibilities
- Aid in food setup, presentation, and clean-up at event sites
- Ensure all food is transported, delivered, and stored according to safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with the conferences and kitchen teams to execute flawless presentations
- Maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude during service
- Transport food and equipment safely between the kitchen and event locations
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, catering, or kitchen work (preferred)
- A passion for hospitality and excellent customer service
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
- Food Handler’s Certificate or ServSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Pay
The pay range for this position is $14.07 - $23.09 per hour. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
