About the Role

Maxxon is seeking a dynamic and experienced Category Marketing Manager to lead our Commercial Business Unit downstream product marketing initiatives and support sales enablement efforts within project segment categories such as Education and Healthcare. This role focuses on developing deep customer and competitive insights, leveraging technical product knowledge to coordinate the delivery of product collateral, and shaping go-to-market strategies for new and existing products. The ideal candidate will integrate deep marketing expertise with customer insights and strategic acumen to craft comprehensive product marketing plans designed to foster market adoption and drive the success of our product portfolio, both strategically and tactically.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategy through expertise of Maxxon’s Commercial Business Unit.
  • Drive market and audience insights to connect stakeholders to growth opportunities.
  • Align product positioning with Commercial Business objectives and product management.
  • Identify new product development opportunities based on market trends and profitable additions to Maxxon’s offering.
  • Lead go-to-market activities, including developing customer growth strategies and seeking new audiences.
  • Own creative solutions and produce growth vehicles for the business.
  • Foster connection between the Marketing team and other Maxxon departments.
  • Communicate business unit drivers to ensure clarity of goals and purpose.
  • Ensure consistent process adoption aligned with Maxxon corporate initiatives and goals.
  • Maintain accuracy and clarity in collateral output to leverage technical excellence.
  • Explore new business ventures, including building envelope market awareness.
  • Strengthen brand identity by tying Commercial to Maxxon/MaxTech core business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience with a proven track record of success in product marketing and/or product management, preferably in the building materials or construction industry.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, customer insights, and competitive intelligence.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for driving product innovation.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on driving measurable business outcomes and product success.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
