Category Manager Sr

About the Role

LCRA is looking for a Category Manager Sr. to join our Construction Delivery Team in Supply Chain. As part of this team, you will serve as the single point of contact for Supply Chain from planning and design to final completion of construction, using your expertise to recommend appropriate project delivery methods, source suppliers, and administer contracts. Our ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of construction procurement and alternative project delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced market analysis and industry intelligence research.
• Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
• Identify and execute sourcing strategies for assigned projects.
• Drive supplier performance and improvement.

Qualifications

• Nine or more years of experience in procurement, vendor management, project management, or other relevant experience.
• A degree(s) in business, supply management, finance, economics, or a relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

Skills

• Experience in construction, engineering, or services procurement.
• Strong analytical skills to determine the best sourcing options.
