Sr. Category Manager

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually

This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a consumer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategy for real estate and facilities management category
• Own the utilities management category, overseeing sourcing and performance
• Manage the performance of outsourced real estate/facilities services provider
• Partner with leadership and stakeholders to align strategies with business needs
• Oversee lease administration and portfolio optimization decisions
• Ensure successful execution of capital and facilities projects
• Develop and manage key performance indicators for category performance
• Identify and implement cost-effective solutions for diverse facility challenges
• Conduct regular reviews to drive improvement and resolve gaps
• Analyze market dynamics to anticipate cost and risk changes
• Negotiate contracts for real estate, facilities, and utilities services
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related fields
• 5-7 years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience, especially in real estate, facilities, or utilities management
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders
• Proven problem-solver with experience crafting creative solutions to operational challenges
• Experience managing third-party service providers or outsourced vendor relationships
• Track record of managing multiple, geographically dispersed projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
