About the role
This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Media environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Own category strategy for defined IT spend areas including SaaS, cloud, and telecom
- Track and manage the renewal pipeline to avoid surprise renewals
- Maintain market intelligence to inform category plans and vendor frameworks
- Lead end-to-end competitive sourcing events and pre-negotiation phases
- Negotiate commercial terms directly with vendors focusing on total cost of ownership
- Document outcomes of sourcing engagements for robust reporting
- Align stakeholders before sourcing engagements to ensure strategic agreement
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or related commercial roles, particularly in IT or technology services
- Proven ability to lead vendor negotiations and develop leverage-based strategies
- Strong spend and data analysis skills, including total cost of ownership models
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, BI tools preferred
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, aligning stakeholders across departments
- Organized and systems-minded, familiar with procurement/work management platforms
- Exceptional communication abilities, especially in presenting complex data simply

Pay
$110,000 – $130,000 annually
