Responsibilities
- Define specific project and program objectives, including outcomes, milestones, viability studies, and resource planning to ensure effectiveness and focus during execution.
- Ensure completion of assigned projects and programs in accordance with predetermined requirements, focusing on product/process specifications, costs, resource utilization, and timeliness.
- Document all phases of project, program, and process development, and report or disseminate necessary information to other functional areas.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding engineering/lab notebooks, patents, confidentiality, and safety.
- Manage material and financial resources effectively to maximize productivity.
- Collaborate with other staff to enhance project and program productivity.
- Spearhead research and development of new technologies, incorporating new processes, designs, or methodologies into Applied Materials products/services and disseminating them as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, work in tight spaces, bend, squat, twist, kneel, reach, and lift.
- Ability to distinguish between colors and work in environments with noise that may be challenging for individuals with noise sensitivity.
- Use of hand and power tools, as well as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields when working in a clean room.
Qualifications
- Regarded as the technical expert in a particular field with in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in your discipline and broad knowledge of other related disciplines.
- Ability to anticipate business and regulatory issues and recommend product, process, or service improvements.
- Lead projects with notable risk and complexity, including developing strategies for project execution.
- Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business, requiring conceptual and innovative thinking.
- Influence direction and resource allocation for programs, projects, or services within general functional policies and industry guidelines.
- Communicate complex ideas effectively, anticipate objections, and persuade others, often at senior levels.
Pay
$128,000.00 - $176,000.00 per year.
Schedule
Full-time. Travel required: 25% of the time.
