As a Category Advisor, you will be working on the front lines, talking with customers about band & orchestra products & rentals, including woodwind, brass, orchestral string, and percussion instruments; their related accessories; and more! Category Advisors connect with hundreds of musicians, parents, and educators, exuding the Sweetwater Experience, by providing an amazing customer interaction, paired with strong technical knowledge. Job Responsibilities Give gear advice on band & orchestra products and accessories.Educate customers on our state-of-the-art rental program, serving as their liaison for Sweetwater Band & Orchestra Instrument Rentals.Follow up on orders to provide outstanding customer service through a variety of different communication methods. Qualifications Self-motivated and empathetic with strong people skillsGreat verbal and written communication chops and strong typing skillsPrevious experience in music industry sales, music education, or first-hand band & orchestra experience.
