Responsibilities
- Inspect properties damaged by various perils, including wind, hail, water, lightning, fire, and more.
- Drive to properties, conduct inspections, evaluate policies and endorsements for coverage, prepare estimates in the Xactimate program, and settle claims on site with customers.
- Handle claims remotely through the ClaimsX Video Collaboration platform in instances where travel is not possible or weather conditions do not permit on-site inspections.
- Utilize multiple tools to get the job done in a fast-paced environment, including estimate tools, job aids, and additional settlement platforms.
- Protect the company financially by executing policies along policy agreements and keeping a clear record of work in a claims system.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 90% of the time to perform inspections anywhere in the United States including overnight travel.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays based on the claims schedule.
- Ability to carry a 50-pound ladder and access up to a 6/12 pitch on a 1 or 2 story roof.
- Ability to travel to customers' homes and handle claims countrywide.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
- Previous experience as an outside adjuster is highly desired.
- Proficiency in using Xactimate or other relevant software for estimating is preferred.
- A minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/50 MB up when working remotely.

Pay
Base compensation offered for this role is $56,000 - $105,000 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This role follows a 10-day on and 4-day off schedule, with 12-hour workdays throughout the year.
Notice of Licensing Requirements
As a condition of employment, your office/area may require you to obtain an adjuster and/or an appraiser license which includes passing an additional background check with the Department of Labor. If applicable, you will be required to secure license(s) within 60 days of hire.
