Job Purpose
PHINIA is seeking an Automotive Parts Catalog Fitment Analyst with aftermarket experience to ensure accurate and complete mapping to ACES standards and other relevant fitment information within the electronic catalog. This role is ideal for someone who loves automotive year/make/model fitment data and is passionate about ensuring the right part applies to the right vehicle every time.
Responsibilities
- Research and map new and carry-up applications from OE data, supplier information, and industry databases.
- Perform regular data audits, quality checks, and validation to maintain accuracy, consistency, and completeness of application data.
- Troubleshoot fitment-related customer inquiries and resolve discrepancies quickly.
- Identify opportunities for improvement within the catalog data.
- Ensure the catalog meets the needs of the end customer, making it easier to navigate, search for, and purchase products.
- Regularly interface with cross-functional teams, including category, engineering, and product, to align catalog data and timing with internal and external expectations.
- Support catalog enrichment initiatives and continuous improvement of internal processes and tools.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of automotive aftermarket experience as a catalog professional.
- Familiarity with Auto Care Aftermarket Catalog Exchange Standards (ACES).
- Solid automotive technical knowledge (parts, systems, and vehicle configurations).
- Background in automotive part fitment, OEM, and competitive part evaluation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, data validation) and basic database concepts.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and research skills.
- Ability to plan and meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or an automotive-related field.
- Experience with JNP PartCat catalog system.
- ASE Certification.
