About the role

Southern States Toyotalift is seeking a Material Handling Specialist to help customers find the right industrial supplies and equipment for their needs. This role involves product knowledge, customer service, and order support.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting appropriate material handling products from our catalog
• Process orders through the Quick Order system or online shopping platform
• Provide product information and pricing to customers via phone, email, and in-person
• Maintain knowledge of product categories including bins, cabinets, carts, containers, cranes, dock equipment, drums, guards, hand trucks, hoppers, ladders, lifts, lockers, matting, racks, shelving, trucks, and work benches
• Help customers navigate the catalog and online ordering system
• Answer questions about manufacturer products from brands such as Beech Design & Manufacturing, Pollard Bros. Mfg. Co., Allied Modular Building Systems, HAMACO Industries, Apache Mills, Apollo Forklift, Presto Lifts, Red Steel Material Handling, David Round Company, and Wholesale Gate Company
• Assist with catalog requests and customer account creation

Requirements

• Knowledge of material handling and industrial supply products
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to process orders accurately
• Comfortable using online ordering systems and product databases
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse/distribution environment

Schedule

Full-time position based at 115 S. 78th St., Tampa, FL 33619. Hours are Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
