About the Role

Provides health care services using sonographic equipment to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Demonstrates anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Applies age-appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for the successful completion of the procedure.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited sonography program or equivalent.
• American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Pay

The posted salary represents a market-competitive range based on benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries are based on full-time employment (40 standard hours per week) and will be prorated for part-time positions. Individual pay rates consider a wide range of factors, including market indicators, skills, education, training, credentials, experience, internal equity, and organizational needs.

Benefits

In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions requiring night, weekend, or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
