Responsibilities
- Complete all aspects of Registration and Scheduling Standards efficiently and accurately to include: register & schedule patients by collecting needed medical and demographic information; collect, apply and reconcile co-pays and payments; obtain and accurately enter Insurance information; follow all insurance and scheduling protocols to assure accurate and compliant billing;
- Collapse and prepare next day patient charts for teams;
- Distribute couriered mail, postal mail and faxes;
- Communicate with teams/providers, as necessary, to provide a seamless and positive experience for the patient;
- Collapse and coordinate patient pick up items including records and medical imaging CD’s, while obtaining proper authorization and documentation;
- Responsible for ensuring the patient lobby is accessible, neat and orderly;
- Perform various administrative duties and other duties, as needed and assigned;
- Provide excellent customer service to all patients, teams, providers and staff by being attentive, respectful and helpful.
Requirements
- Must be flexible to float to other Summit locations as needed (Eden Prairie, Maple Grove, and Minnetonka, MN).
- Must be flexible to pick up at least two shifts per month.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Skills

- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Pay
Summit's hiring range for this position is $18.77 to $23.46 per hour.
Schedule
Casual position based at our Plymouth Bass Lake Clinic. No set schedule; Variable daytime and evening schedule with occasional weekend coverage.
