Job Summary
The Casting Prep Position at CA Lawton in De Pere focuses on preparing finished castings for shipment, including hardness testing. This position is integral to the Foundry's production process and requires bilingual communication (English and Spanish).
Responsibilities
- Use mallet and gauge to test casting hardness
- Apply rust preventative when required
- Attach labels to each casting and match cast number with label
- Record data related to casting numbers and shipment dates in computer system
- Picking up castings, palletizing, banding with forklift
- Touch up grinding
- Load and unload trucks
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bilingual communication (English and Spanish)

- Strong knowledge of foundry processes
- Willingness to improve job safety, quality, speed, and ease
- Good computer skills and familiarity with forklift
- Forklift certified

Pay and Schedule
- 1st shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM with OT on Fridays as needed. Alternating every other weekend.
- $21.00- $24.00/HR depending on experience.
