About the role

We are seeking a Castline Fill Station Operator who will report to the Operations Supervisor via the Castline Team Lead. Your responsibilities will involve operating BRP castlines, managing pouring robots and other castline functions, using a hoist to move aluminum casting clusters, maintaining equipment, and working closely with quality control teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate BRP castlines, initiating and controlling pouring robots and all other castline functionality
• Use a hoist to move aluminum casting clusters around the work area
• Maintain related equipment to ensure proper functioning, including furnace cleaning
• Work with other operational functions to ensure appropriate part flow
• Work with quality team to obtain first-part approvals
• Adequately follow established safety rules
• Identify and follow process sheets

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Technically and mechanically inclined
• Conceptual skills
• High degree of physical stamina – candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Inclination to process improvement
• Self-motivated
• Able to effectively follow written and verbal processes
