Casting Exit Line Operator

Responsibilities

• Material handling, quality inspection, product packaging and labeling
• Housekeeping
• Other tasks as needed to optimize production
• Engage in “Take control of Safety” initiatives
• Operate forklifts to prepare aluminum products for shipment
• Inspect finished products for quality
• Work with teammates on other tasks as needed

Requirements

• Understand and follow all safety rules
• Motivated and have a strong work ethic
• Communicate effectively with a team
• Attend work on a reliable basis for 12-hour shifts on a rotating 4 on/4 off schedule
• Have strong math and reading skills
• Be able to learn various production processes
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Previous forklift or similar mobile equipment experience preferred
