Casting Call: Voice Talents - Spanish US
About the role
DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking voice talents for two upcoming Text-to-Speech (TTS) development projects, Project Mulberry and Project Silkwood. Selected talents will record 3–6 hours of scripted audio for each project. Project Mulberry recordings will be used to create a TTS voice for narrating audiobooks and include a separate buyout fee; participants will sign an Assignment of Rights Agreement. Project Silkwood recordings will serve as data for training and testing existing TTS models, with no buyout fee. DataForce, part of the TransPerfect family, provides high-quality data for Human-Machine Interaction to leading technology companies worldwide, focusing on gathering, enriching, and processing data for Machine Learning in various AI domains.
Responsibilities
- Record scripted audio (3–6 hours) for Project Mulberry (audiobook narration TTS voice).
- Record scripted audio (3–6 hours) for Project Silkwood (data for training/testing TTS models).
- Sign an Assignment of Rights Agreement for Project Mulberry (buyout fee included).
- Submit a 30–60‑second narrative voice recording sample if selected.
Requirements
- Professional voice recording, voice acting, or voice dubbing experience.
- Idiomatic fluency in Spanish (US).
- Age 18+.
- Ability to record in a professional‑quality home studio or access to a professional recording studio.
- Wired microphone.
