CASINO HOUSEKEEPING-SWING SHIFT

Maintains offices, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, escalators and VLT Machines other work areas.

• Sweeps floors and walkways.
• Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Keeps storage rooms clean and organized.
• Delivers cleaning supplies and paper products.

Answers guest's questions about the facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must qualify for licensing with the West Virginia Racing Commission.

Physical Demands

• Frequently stands, walks, uses hands to finger, handle, or feel, reaches with hands and arms, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls.
• Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, high, precarious places, outside weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
• Frequent exposure to noise level in the work environment.
