CASINO HOUSEKEEPING-SWING SHIFT (4PM-MIDNIGHT)

PENN Entertainment operates 43 destinations across North America plus online sports betting and iCasino via theScore Bet Sportsbook and Casino®. This position maintains clean, safe, and welcoming public and back-of-house areas at a West Virginia gaming facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain offices, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, escalators, VLT machines, and other work areas
• Sweep floors and walkways
• Wash windows, door panels, and sills
• Empty wastebaskets; empty and clean ashtrays
• Replenish bathroom supplies
• Keep storage rooms clean and organized
• Deliver cleaning supplies and paper products
• Answer guests' questions about the facility

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words; recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
• Print and speak simple sentences
• Add and subtract two-digit numbers; multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
• Perform arithmetic operations using units of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
• Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
• Qualify for licensing with the West Virginia Racing Commission

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger/handle/feel, and reach with hands and arms
• Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear
• Occasionally sit, climb, and balance
• Frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds
• Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes/airborne particles, and toxic/caustic chemicals
• Occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions, high/precarious places, outdoor weather, electrical shock risk, and vibration
• Noise level usually loud
