About the Role
As a Casino Host, your primary responsibility is to acquire, develop, and maintain relationships with VIP customers to drive increased revenues for the company. Through genuine engagement and positive energy, you will provide guests an escape into an exciting world of fun, chance, and possibility, ensuring everyone feels a sense of belonging and importance.
Responsibilities
- Extend complimentary items and services to guests by analyzing their play within established guidelines.
- Recruit new mid and high-level players through marketing activities such as direct mailers, telemarketing, referrals, on-floor monitoring, and off-site functions.
- Attract, develop, and maintain relationships with target customers through personalized service.
- Greet and host target customers while on property.
- Ensure and promote target customers use a player’s club card while on property.
- Arrange appropriate levels of comps during guest visits.
- Coordinate and ensure execution of special services for guests.
- Use HMS to document, track, and develop customer pipeline.
- Resolve or deter customer complaints professionally to recover guests for future visits.
- Conduct phone marketing to invite target customers to the property or special events.
- Market and fill promotional events, both hosted and casino-related.
- Create an atmosphere of luck and celebrate customer wins.
- Meet company objectives and production goals.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required (or currently enrolled in a GED program to complete within six months of start date).
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
- One (1) year of Player Development experience, OR
- Five (5) years’ experience in a quota-based sales position, OR
- One (1) year working in Hotel, Casino Concierge/Casino Marketing, or Player Services with WCH.
- Must successfully pass a job interview, including a guest service audition.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills.
- Friendly, highly energized, and self-motivated.
- Able to achieve production goals and work in a high-pressure environment.
- Professional handling of guest service issues to recover guests for future visits.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire shift.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to travel and participate in training as required.
- Must obtain and maintain an Occupational License pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board.
Pay
Compensation ranges from $63,700.00 to $78,700.00 annually, with starting pay based on experience, qualifications, and skills.
